Main Purpose and Vision of the Journal:
Promoting the advancement of theoretical knowledge in the field of urban design and enhancing the quality of the built environment, with a special emphasis on recognizing and articulating indigenous and contextual foundations, strengthening the Iranian–Islamic spatial identity, and developing models tailored to the cultural, historical, social, and climatic conditions of Iran for the design of urban public spaces.
Other objectives of the journal include:
Formulating and advancing indigenous and contextual theoretical foundations and models of urban design derived from the culture, history, and Iranian-Islamic values, with the aim of enhancing national identity and improving the quality of urban public spaces in accordance with the country’s social and climatic conditions.
