The International Journal of Iranian Urban Design Studies is published based on authorization letter No. 14033/10/4370 dated 06/19/2024 from the Vice Chancellor for Research at Shiraz University, with approval and licensing from the Shiraz University Research Council, in collaboration with the Iranian Society of Architecture and Urban Planning.

Fields of Article Submission

The International Journal of Iranian Urban Design Studies accepts original research and review articles in the following fields:

- Theoretical, practical, and applied studies in the field of urban design knowledge in Iran, emphasizing the enhancement of Iranian-Islamic identity
- Evaluation of environmental quality and analysis of urban spaces in urban design
- The relationship between the quality of urban public spaces and the safety, security, health, functionality, identity, efficiency, comfort, and ease for users of these public spaces
- Physical identity and Iranian-Islamic urban design
- Urban livability in terms of citizen behavior, land use and activity, transportation, and urban facilities
- The interactive effects of environmental conditions and quality, environmental pollution, and climate change on the quality of life and satisfaction of citizens in public urban spaces
- Evaluation of environmental, visual, cultural, and social effects on the quality of public urban spaces
- Urban regeneration, urban aesthetics, environmental perception and psychology, urban landscape, resilience, and environmental sustainability in public urban spaces
